Angel of Death
Samael is an archangel in Talmudic and post-Talmudic lore, often identified as the Angel of Death and the accuser (Satan).
In Jewish tradition, Samael serves as both prosecutor and executioner. He is sometimes described as the serpent in the Garden of Eden.
