🧙♂️ 1. Archetypes (according to C. G. Jung)
What are archetypes?
Archetypes are universal primordial images in the collective unconscious – patterns that appear in all cultures: in myths, dreams, religions, and art.
They are not conscious, but they shape our behavior, our roles, dreams, relationships, and crises.
Examples:
🧔 The Wise Man (Mentor) – e.g., Gandalf, Dumbledore, Socrates
🗡️ The Hero – e.g., B. Odysseus, Luke Skywalker
🧝♀️ The Anima/Animus – the inner feminine in men, the masculine in women
🐍 The Shadow – the repressed, unconscious, often negative or taboo
👑 The Self – the holistic inner center (above the ego)
These figures live within you – as forces, voices, potentials.
