Maked Figures

Masked Figures

🧠 Brief Definition / Overview

Dreams of masked individuals—or of wearing a mask yourself—point to disguise, inauthenticity, or hidden identities. These dreams often reflect aspects of yourself or others that are being concealed, whether intentionally or unconsciously.

🧩 Psychological Interpretation

Masks represent repressed parts of the personality. They symbolize the "false self" we adopt in social roles to avoid rejection or judgment. Beneath the mask often lie unresolved issues, forbidden desires, or disowned traits that are seeking acknowledgment.

🔮 Spiritual / Symbolic Meaning

Spiritually, the mask can represent both protection and illusion. In many traditions, it echoes Maya—the veil of illusion in Eastern philosophy. Dreams involving masks invite the dreamer to uncover their true self and to see beyond appearances.
