In esotericism, this is sometimes understood as meaning that one part of a person, their spirit, or soul, remains in heaven, while the other lives on earth. The celestial twin can be a source of inspiration. This theory is consistent with the assumption that only incomplete soul parts incarnate, while the complete soul always remains in the afterlife. The aspects of the complete soul coincide with the Higher Self.
